The form of cancer that Celluminova focuses on is called glioblastoma, a highly fatal type of brain cancer. Celluminova’s fluorescence method allows for the identification of stem cells, which assists surgeons during tumor removal. By removing more stem cells, it is likely that the survival rate can be increased.

With this additional investment, the total investment in Celluminova amounts to approximately half a million SEK.

– Celluminova is active in an important area and is developing according to plan. It is therefore natural for us to participate in this funding round as well, says Jonas Nilsson, Investment Manager at LiU Invest.
