N-ink’s business idea is to develop and manufacture conductive inks, which are used, among other things, to produce printed electronics. The ink is based on research results from LOE at Linköping University in Norrköping.
A challenge in bringing research on printed electronics to commercial products has been the availability of various types of conductive inks. The company n-ink will facilitate this by offering new types of conductive inks for various applications. Ink sales are expected to commence as early as 2021.
– By joining as a co-founder of the company and simultaneously making an investment, we can shorten the time from research results to commercialization, says Jonas Nilsson, Investment Manager at LiU Invest.
