Ligna Energy AB develops technology to produce batteries using forest raw material. The technology originates from research at Linköping University, and its development is carried out in close collaboration with the university. LiU Invest is now making a follow-on investment together with other new and existing investors.
“We believe in the long-term benefit of Ligna’s technology,” says Jonas Nilsson, LiU Invest. “In this investment round, we have also brought in a number of business angels who have co-invested with us in other companies and who are interested in sustainable investments.”
