About LiU Invest
LiU Invest contributes to ensuring that initiatives undertaken within LiU’s various research environments and educational activities lead to commercial success, translating research results and knowledge into practical benefit, preferably through innovation companies. The operations focus on investment and active ownership in such early development phases of innovation companies that the involvement can often be considered co-foundership.
The objective for LiU Invest, in addition to contributing to the formation of new innovation companies, is that returns should be reinvested in new innovation companies from LiU. Value growth and thus the opportunity for exit are therefore crucial parameters for long-term sustainable operations.
