Rove Technologies
Rove Technologies has developed an innovative software, LiU Head, which can contribute to an improved hearing experience for customers, but also a faster design process. Originating from the medical faculty and intuition BKV at Linköping University, Rove Technologies uses Bone Conduction (BC), a method that measures vibrations in the skull bone. LiU Head is enabled with linear acoustics and solid mechanics and has been tested and verified for frequencies from 100 Hz to 10,000 Hz. This can, for example, be used to test hearing aids for people who cannot hear through the normal ear canal, but it can also help develop new products or be applied to increase the sound quality of existing products.
